About This Series:

The Volunteer Management Training Series is an introductory course where we will cover the integral components of a successful volunteer program, and the changes brought on by COVID-19. This is a great training series for new professionals and individuals who are interested to learn more about volunteer resources administration.  

Topics Covered Include:

• Planning a Volunteer Program

• Recruitment, Marketing, and Communications

• Interviewing and Screening

• Orientation and Training

• Supervision and Evaluation

• Recognition, Retention, and Staff-Volunteer Relations

Participants who successfully complete all series requirements will receive their VMTS Certificate

Online Training:

The training series will take place on Zoom, we recommend using a laptop/desktop so it's easier to participate with the other participants. You will recieve links to your online classroom which will contain all materials you need and zoom links prior to the start of the course.
