Local Giving Made Easy

Richmond's charitable sector is filled with amazing organizations, all working to make our community a better place. And you can support their work directly through the RCRG site!

Charitable Impact 300 To make this possible, we've partnered with Charitable Impact, a Vancouver-based organization that, through its online giving platform, connects you with the causes you care about. In this case, local causes.

So, how does it work? Glad you asked! The first step is to visit the RCRG Members Directory, which currently features around 70 local organizations, and is growing all the time. You can search by cause, do a keyword search, or simply browse an alphabetical list of organizations. Click on one you'd like to support to open its RCRG profile.

On the organization's profile page, click the Donate Here button. When the Charitable Impact donation widget appears, enter your gift amount, credit card details, and tax receipt information.

Two things will happen next: your donation will be directed to the organization you chose, and a tax receipt will be sent to the e-mail address you provided.*

Then you can do it all again!

Oh, and one last word about Charitable Impact. You don't need to sign-up for an Impact account to donate through the RCRG site, but we strongly encourage you to sign-up anyway. Why? Because an Impact account makes it easy to manage and track your charitable giving. Simply put, it's the best way to see the impact you're having on your community.
