What is the position?

Assist with sorting toys, stocking shelves, boxing toys and running bags of toys to registration.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Sort toys based on categories and price
  • Sort toys into designated staging areas
  • Ensure donated toys are child-appropriate
  • Organize books according to age group
  • Pack up and prepare toys for storage following end of program
  • Promote and participate in a welcoming and friendly environment for all team members

Time Commitment

  • Minimum 5 shift commitment (approximately 8-10 hours in total)
  • Shifts November 13th- December 17th

Training:

All volunteers must attend in-person training.  Additional on-site training will be provided at the beginning of each shift and staff area always available to answer questions.

Training

  • Thursday, October 22 or Tuesday November 10 from 5:30 – 6:30pm

When does it start?

Minimum 5 shift commitment. Shifts are available from November 13th - December 17th on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 3:30 - 5:00pm and Saturdays 9:30am - 2:30pm

Volunteers must attend one training session in addition to the 5 shift commitment
