What is the position?

The Adoption Centre temporarily cares for adoptable cats, kittens and small animals until they find their loving, forever home.The role is primarily cleaning in nature, but you will definitely get some animal-loving in during your time at the Adoption Centre.Morning Shift - 9:30 am to 10 am start for 2 to 3 hours:

  • Full cleaning cages (for cats & rabbit), Refreshing Waters, Washing Dishes, Laundry, Taking out garbage and recycling, Sweeping & Mopping

Evening Shift – 4 – 6 pm:

  • Litter scooping in cages and communal boxes / removing & wiping clean any messes in the cages / removing any soiled bedding and replacing with clean, Food dish washing, Laundry, Taking out garbage and recycling, Sweeping and mopping, Extra duties as instructed by Animal Care Attendant
