It's time again to celebrate Richmond's star volunteers! And this year, why don't we do it together?
That's right: for the first time since the pandemic began, the Volunteers Are Stars Awards will be held in person!
Join us for an inspiring evening, as we recognize the dedication, impact, and endless contributions of volunteers throughout our community. The event will begin with a stand-up reception, where you can enjoy appetizers, refreshments, and wonderful company - including this year's nominees. Then, during a seated awards ceremony, we'll announce the recipients of the 2023 Volunteers Are Stars Awards.
Every day, volunteers give their time to make our community shine. And thanking them, in turn, should be an everyday occurrence. In that process of ongoing recognition, the Volunteers Are Stars Awards are an exclamation mark, providing a unique opportunity to amplify our collective gratitude, and thank volunteers with a single, resounding voice. Plus, after the past three years, we can all agree that Richmond's volunteer spirit shines brighter when we celebrate together.
