Supporting A Family Member with Dementia or a Disability in Decision Making

Published October 13, 2021 The Canadian Centre for Elder Law is seeking spouses, partners, or other family members in a supporting role with a person living with dementia or a disability. The purpose is to share about strategies you use and challenges you face in including a family member in making decisions that matter to them.

You are invited to participate in a Cantonese-language focus group on Tuesday, October 26, at 1:00pm.

Your feedback will help other people in a caring role and health care providers to learn how to better support people living with dementia in decision making.

Group discussions will be facilitated by the Canadian Centre for Elder Law with other partners. A $50 honoraium will be provided.

Contact Jess at jfehrenbacher@bcli.org or 778-548-9996 to participate or learn more.
