What is the position?

Assist with greeting and welcoming families as they come to register for the Richmond Christmas Fund. Hand out tickets, and answer basic questions .

Essential Job Functions:  

  • Greet and welcome families registering for the Richmond Christmas Fund  

  • Hand out numbered tickets  

  • Manage line-up as required  

  • Answer basic questions or refer questions to Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives staff  

  • Accompany registered individuals to the Toy Room  

  • Promote and participate in a welcoming and friendly environment for all team members

Each shift is approximately 3 hours long. We require volunteers to commit to a minimum of four shifts between November and December. There is also a once time mandatory training session.
