Inspired by her son, Richmond author Kaye Liao Banez wrote See Yah in the Morning! to help young children develop communication skills. But Kaye also wanted to give back to the community, so for every book sold, she’s donating partial proceeds to local charities. This fall, the beneficiary is the Richmond Christmas Fund.

When you purchase a copy of See Yah in the Morning! directly through Kaye’s website—bammstellacreations.com—she’ll donate $2 to the Christmas Fund, which provides grocery vouchers, toys, books, and gift cards to low-income families, so they can celebrate the holidays.

You can buy the book for yourself, or purchase two copies, and donate one back to the Christmas Fund, so it can be given to a family in need. Either way, you’ll be promoting  literacy and creating a brighter holiday season for the less fortunate.
